With our patchwork method, the entire hide is first cut as optimally as possible. Good patchwork is the most economical and environmentally friendly way of producing, and requires great craftsmanship. All pieces of leather with an unevenness such as bites or other scars are sorted out. The leather with which is subsequently worked is of a constant quality. By careful selection of the leather pieces, only the right pieces of leather come together for processing.

All this translates into more favorable production costs and a lower price for the customer. Therefore, there is no quality difference between a Chesterfield made from a whole hide or with patchwork from 'The Chesterfield Brand'. The same warranty conditions apply to both production processes.
